The Tallus IGFA (International Game Fish Association) series of trolling rods were created for 50-lb., 80-lb. and 130-lb. line class ratings. These world-class saltwater rods are built utilizing the most advanced engineering techonology available combined with a close partnership between our field testers, local guides, dealers and customers. The series also allows anglers to customize their purchases by offering either the tip section without the AFTCO Unibutt or the entire rod, including the butt. Offering both options means anglers who already own AFTCO butts now have the flexibility to use Tallus IGFA tips.

Shimano has engineered the next generation of TC4 Construction. This new construction uses a high carbon butt section fused together with a TC4 tip section. This new blank design gives you the pulling power of TC4 but with less weight and increased sensitivity. You will also notice a much faster recovery rate, which will increase the jigging action and subdue fish faster.

Shimano's new Tescata rods were specifically designed to fish Lucanus jigs. Tescata rods have been designed with Specific Tapers and Powers. There is a model to accommodate every jig weight from 60-200 grams. Safety meets function using a Double Anodized Aluminum Hook Keeper Ring seamlessly molded into the Rear Grip.
