    Energy PTs

    The popular Energy PTs inshore saltwater baitcast reel is totally new for 2009 with a sleeker profile and a weight reduction of 2.1 ounces.

    With two different gear ratios to choose from ("Burner" 7.0:1 and "Speed" 6.3:1) there is an Energy PTs for your style of fishing. Left-hand cranking models are available to expand your versatility even further.

    Micro ACS™ cast control provides precision adjustment, externally, to fine-tune your cast. Energy PTs reels also feature MaxCast™ aluminum spools (V-spool on Burner model, high-capacity on Speed model), as well as our new powerful ceramic drag.

    Catalyst PTs

    Quantum Performance Tuned Catalyst for inshore saltwater features our new low-profile design and 7 ultra-smooth PT hybrid bearings.

    Weighing in at just 7.5 ounces, Catalyst PTs utilizes our new-for-2009 one-piece aluminum frame design and is protected from the elements with our Saltgard™ 6-layer corrosion protection.

    Cabo PTs baitcast reels utilize an adjustable centrifugal braking system to help control your cast, and feature 6 polymer-stainless PT bearings for smooth performance. A solid Continuous Anti-Reverse guarantees a rock-solid hookset.

    Unique features include a flip-up lubrication port for easy maintenance access, and Bait Alert™ audible bait clicker. Cabo PTs baitcast reels are also available in left-hand retrieve models.

    Surge

    Quantum's Surge baitcast reel is ideal for inshore fishermen on a budget, but looking for high performance.

    A 6-bearing drive system delivers ultra-smooth cranking, and Surge is available with our exclusive "Burner" 7.0:1 gear set for fishermen who need to cover alot of water.

    Surge baitcast combos feature a custom-matched saltwater grade medium- and medium-heavy action rod with a natural cork handle — available in 6'6" or 7' rod lengths.

    With no baggage from old tooling or previous models to bog us down, we were able to start with a clean slate and build these reels to meet the needs of modern day anglers.

    Cabo PT conventional reels feature a cast aluminum one-piece frame with aluminum side covers, 8 PT hybrid polymer-stainless bearings, an oversized brass main gear and brass pinion, and a carbon fiber multi-stack drag for supreme performance.
