WIDE RANGE
This lure caught an incredible 1,742 LB MARLIN as well as the 80 LB LINE CLASS WORLD RECORD BLUE MARLIN OF 1,189 LBS. The Standard Size Wide Range has several line class records and is a tuna killer! This lure can be trolled over a “Wide Range” of speeds from 4-14 knots (hence the name), and this lure is SUPER in rough water. The Wide Range is responsible for breaking Blue Marlin records in Venezuela, Puerto Rico and Africa. In Hawaii, it is one of the favorites of many boat captains. SUPER CHUGGER
A Pink/White (#22) Senior Super Chugger (combined with a Senior Bird #22) produced THE ALL TACKLE ATLANTIC BLUE MARLIN I.G.F.A. WORLD RECORD 1,402 LB caught by Paulo Roberto Amorin off Brazil on February 29, 1992. This record has not been broken. The Super Chugger Lure has a deeply concave head and a longer, heavier, reverse tapered body than the original Tsunami Chugger (still available). These refinements make the lure run well in both calm and rough water conditions. This lure can be trolled between 6 and 14 knots. HOOKER
NOW IN 5 SIZES! Originally developed and collaborated on the famous game-boat, THE HOOKER, out of Houston, Texas. This design has proven to be one of the most successful trolling lures ever developed. HOOKERS are the pace setter in lure design technology. The short, fat and blunt head design makes for better hook up ratios while creating maximum water disturbance. These lures have been trolled from Great Barrier Reef off of Australia to the north Drop off of the Virgin Islands with incredible success. In the Northeast waters of the US, HOOKERS have been out-fishing the old standards by more than 2 to 1 for Big Eye Tuna. The smaller HOOKERS have proven to be the finest Ballyhoo skirts for fisherman who choose to use bait. The HOOKER lure is the most copied design ever created but it has never been duplicated. CHUBBY CHUGGER
The CHUBBY CHUGGER was developed by Capt. Paul Ivy, another world class Professional captain on the Mold Craft Team. In his search for a more active vibrating effect, Capt. Paul shortened our very successful Super Chugger head to create a more amazing vibration while at the same time maintaining the same stability as the original lure. The CHUBBY CHUGGER stays down and runs straight with an occasional popping up showing an enticing shaking action never seen before. A great bait to catch the eye of a ‘looker’ and encourage the reluctant cruiser to strike. This lure is available in one size and all Mold Craft colors. (see color chart)
SQUID
The ORIGINAL, (Often copied, but never duplicated) SQUIRT SQUID is soft, but no too soft. Amazing action and fish catching ability. The most successful lure for Giant Tuna, it produced the largest Tuna on rod and reel in the U.S.A. of 1,228 LB. They also make great SPREADER-BAR rigs and DAISY CHAINS. Use the 6" and 9" SQUID DAISY CHAINS for Sailfish and smaller game fish, and the 12" SQUID DAISY CHAINS for Tuna. Multiple Work!
